Wade Allen has been promoted to the role of president of Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill. He served previously as executive vice president of strategic growth and joined the company about 14 months ago. Allen was previously senior vice president and chief digital officer at Brinker International.
Taco Cabana has named John Ramsay director of franchise sales and development. The San Antonio, Texas-based chain is part of Yadav Enterprises, and Ramsay will also support the Nick The Greek brand, which is also part of the portfolio. Before joining Taco Cabana, Ramsay led franchising efforts for Noodles & Company, Bruxie, Marco’s Pizza, Luxottica, TGI Fridays and Jack in the Box.
Scribner’s Catskill Lodge in Hunter, N.Y., has named Alejandro Reyes Herrera to the role of chef de cuisine at the on-site restaurant Prospect. He worked previously in Barcelona, Spain, at the Michelin-starred Cocina Hermanos Torres.
Kassandra Adkins is the new sous chef at Noko in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is working with Executive Chef Dung “Junior” Vo. She worked previously as lead line cook at 5th & Taylor, and spent time in the kitchen at both O-Ku Nashville and Sushi Roller.
